If you have multiple people at one location, only one of them shows up on the map in the app. The website handles it fine, lets you swipe to see everyone at that location.

Other than that app is a big improvement over trying to use the batchgeo maps on a browser on your phone. From what I can tell, the person who creates the map has to have the hundred dollar per month subscription, but once created the maps can be viewed on the app without the subscription.
